Denis Rosier
Denis Rosier holds a Master of Laws from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), obtained with high honours (grande distinction). He is a member of the French-speaking Bar of Brussels and joined solvo.legal in 2026. His practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation (dispute resolution), with a particular but non-exclusive emphasis on complex procedural issues.
He specialises in procedural law and assists clients at every stage of a dispute: the pre-litigation phase (negotiations and amicable dispute resolution), the litigation phase (proceedings before the courts) and the post-litigation phase (attachments and enforcement of judgments). He represents both companies and private individuals. His preferred areas of practice are contract law, real estate law, contractual and tort liability, and business law.
Alongside his work at the Bar, Denis Rosier is also active in academia. He is currently a PhD researcher in judicial law at the ULB and a teaching assistant in judicial law (BA3) and private international law (MA2). He previously served as a teaching assistant in economic law and European Union law (BA3) at UMons. He is a member of the Judicial Law Unit of the ULB’s Centre for Private Law. In that capacity, he contributed to a legislative reform project on judicial law, commissioned by the Minister of Justice, aimed at reforming the functioning of the courts. He presented this project to the Justice Committee of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives in December 2024.
Denis Rosier is also editor-in-chief of the journal Commentaire pratique du Code judiciaire, published by Wolters Kluwer. He publishes regularly in his areas of expertise and speaks at conferences and seminars. Denis Rosier is valued by his clients for his availability, thoroughness, pragmatism and ability to deliver practical solutions to complex problems. He works in French, English and Vietnamese, and has a passive knowledge of Dutch.
