Real Estate Law
Volume ownership involves the vertical stacking of various property rights above or below the ground via building rights. solvo.legal has extensive experience in this both in the context of complex real estate projects (drafting of contracts, advice and dispute resolution) and in the context of plot boundary-crossing above-ground or below-ground intakes of property volumes in the context of neighbourly relations.

The lawyers at solvo.legal have a particular affinity for drafting agreements establishing easements, ground lease and building rights. In this respect, Mr Nicolas Van Damme also authored the models for Kluwer, which are used by many lawyers in their professional activities. The correct structuring of real estate projects or construction projects via easements, ground lease or building rights is often crucial. The choice of one legal structure or the other can be essential depending on the needs of the parties. solvo.legal will be happy to help you make the right choice for your concrete project.

solvo.legal provides assistance on the legal aspects of (voluntary, accidental or forced) co-ownership. Our specialist lawyers offer advice and assistance to clients on disputes, regulations and contracts related to co-ownership. We aim to provide solutions that protect the interests of all co-owners and resolve disputes in an effective and equitable manner. We have mastered both small (e.g. apartment buildings) and large projects (e.g. structuring new forms of ownership).
Neighbour nuisance refers to legal issues relating to nuisances caused by neighbouring properties, such as noise or odour problems, crossing property boundaries or other disturbances. Our specialised lawyers offer advice and representation to clients facing such disputes, striving to find solutions that take into account the client’s interests and needs and promote a peaceful (lasting) and legally compliant solution.
Domain property law refers to legal issues relating to public property. The government’s “domain” includes both property subject to common private law (the so-called “private domain”) and property that, given its public purpose, enjoys special status (the so-called “public or public domain”). Complex real estate projects are often unthinkable without raising questions about their compatibility with the existing public domain. Also in PPP projects, public and private interests are mixed and the question arises as to the compatibility of the project with the special status of the public domain. You can contact the lawyers at solvo.legal who are particularly specialised in this interaction between private property and public domain.
